His journey started in 1980, working in the carpet cleaning and restoration industry, where he developed deep expertise in truck-mounted steam cleaning, dry cleaning methods, upholstery cleaning, area rugs, and carpet repair and installation.

As he worked in homes and businesses over the years, Richard saw firsthand how water damage and hidden moisture problems often led to dangerous mold growth. Determined to help property owners restore safe and healthy environments, he expanded his training into water damage restoration, structural drying, and environmental moisture control.

By 1995, Richard began specializing in mold removal and repair, working on both residential and commercial properties. As an IICRC-certified mold remediation professional, he gained extensive experience using professional equipment such as air scrubbers, high-velocity air movers, dehumidification systems, and advanced moisture monitoring tools to properly detect and eliminate mold contamination.

With over three decades of hands-on field experience, Richard founded Gabriel Mold Removal with a clear mission: to provide homeowners and businesses with honest, professional, and effective mold remediation services that restore safety, health, and peace of mind.
